Description
Tecno Spark 30C offers a compelling blend of features at an affordable price point, delivering a display, camera, battery, and design package that suits daily needs well.
Display & Design
Sporting a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Spark 30C delivers smoother animations and scrolling compared to devices limited to 60Hz. The resolution is HD+ (720 × 1600), which keeps the visuals decent for watching videos, social media, and light gaming. Build-wise, you get a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame, with the whole package rated IP54 for dust & splash resistance.
Camera Setup
On the rear is a 50MP main wide camera paired with an auxiliary lens, which enables good detail and color in well-lit scenes. The front camera is 8MP, suitable for selfies and video calls. Video recording is at 1080p@30fps. Dual LED flashes (front and rear) assist in low-light conditions.
Battery & Charging
Powered by a 5000mAh battery, the Spark 30C typically gives a full day’s use under moderate usage. Charging is handled via 18W wired charging, which isn’t the fastest on the market, but is adequate for this class of phone.
Performance & Storage
The phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, which is solid for everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing, media consumption, and light multitasking. It comes in several RAM & storage configurations common ones being 4GB RAM / 128GB storage or higher configurations up to 8GB / 256GB. It also supports microSD cards for additional storage. The OS is Android 14 with Tecno’s HiOS skin.
Security & Extras
For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Audio comes through dual symmetrical speakers; there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include USB-C, dual SIM, and infrared remote control support in some markets. Plus, features like “wet & oily touch control” help usability in less-than-ideal conditions.
